CLEVELAND (AP) — A man arrested and charged after he tried to get on the stage at a Donald Trump campaign rally in Ohio on Saturday reportedly told police he planned to grab the microphone and yell that Trump is a racist but didn't intend to hurt anyone. The Dayton Daily News says it obtained a report from police that included comments the 22-year-old made to officers after his arrest.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Bernie Sanders is calling on Donald Trump to "tell his supporters that violence in the political process in America is not acceptable." During a televised town hall in Ohio, the presidential hopeful was asked about Trump's charge that the Sanders campaign sent protesters to disrupt his Chicago rally. Sanders said his campaign has never encouraged "anybody to disrupt anything."

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — The United States is condemning Sunday's car bomb attack in the Turkish capital Ankara (AN'-kuh-ruh), which killed 34 people and hurt more than 120 others. And British Prime Minister David Cameron says he is "appalled" by the attack. A senior Turkish government official says police believe Kurdish militants carried out the suicide bombing at a bus stop, based on "initial indications."

ABIDJAN, Ivory Coast (AP) — A group that monitors jihadist websites says an Islamic extremist group is claiming responsibility for an attack on a beach resort in Ivory Coast. SITE Intelligence Group says al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb made the declaration in a post to its Telegram channels. Officials say 14 civilians, two special forces and six assailants were killed at the Grand Bassam resort.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The storm that's been bringing strong winds, heavy rain, snow and high surf to much of Northern California over the past four days is weakening. The rain that's inundated rivers and roads and led to some evacuations is expected to taper off early Monday, with warm, dry weather predicted for the rest of the week.
