ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) — A southern Utah man helped bring peace to a Washington family when he stopped to help a man lying in a dirt road with no shirt or shoes. The Spectrum of St. George reports that the 72-year-old man was reported missing in Onalaska, Washington, two weeks ago. According to the Iron County Sheriff's Office, the man's family said he had recently been diagnosed with medical conditions related to memory loss.
WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) — Authorities have determined that a West Valley City man found dead in a house fire had shot and killed himself before setting his home ablaze. Firefighters had responded Wednesday to reports of smoke coming from the home when they found the body of William Richerson inside near the front door.
