THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) — Police in Amsterdam are investigating whether a severed head found outside a water pipe cafe belongs to a decapitated body discovered in a burnt-out car in the city.
The head was discovered Wednesday morning outside a cafe close to Amsterdam's popular Vondelpark, a day after the headless body was found in the scorched remains of a car on the edge of the Dutch capital.
Detectives identified the body as 23-year-old Nabil Amzieb, and said he was "known to police."
