BOUNTIFUL, Utah (AP) — Authorities are trying to determine if a Bountiful man accused of sexually assaulting two teenage girls may have victimized others.
Weber County Sheriff's deputies said Sunday that 20-year-old Ryan Meloni remains in jail on multiple charges including rape, forcible sodomy, assault and permitting a child to be exposed to a controlled substance.
Meloni was initially charged last month.
Authorities say Meloni met a 16-year-old girl and her friend at a party in Ogden.
According to investigators, Meloni allegedly dropped the 16-year-old off and physical assaulted the friend on the side of the road.
He then allegedly went back to the 16-year-old's home and sexually assaulted her in her bedroom.
Another victim has since alleged Meloni sexually assaulted her last year.
It was not immediately known if Meloni had an attorney.
