WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (AP) — Officials say five employees at a northeastern Pennsylvania high school have been suspended with pay while an unspecified incident is being investigated.
Solicitor Ray Wendolowski of the Wilkes-Barre Area School District on Monday confirmed the suspension of the five GAR Memorial High School employees, which took effect late last week.
Wendolowski described the five as "professional employees." He declined to disclose any other information about the investigation, saying it involved confidential personnel matters.
