DURHAM, N.H. (AP) — The University of New Hampshire says that two students who were arrested in connection with the off-campus stabbing of another student have been suspended.
UNH officials said Tuesday that 20-year-old Matthew Gibbons and 21-year-old Eric Denning will remain suspended pending the outcome of their cases.
Police said a screen shot of a Snapchat led to the arrest of Gibbons and Denning. Gibbons faces a first-degree assault charge and Denning is charged with second-degree assault and criminal liability.
Foster's Daily Democrat reports (http://bit.ly/1PZ3o7U ) the victim was identified as 20-year-old Dean Skelley. It's not clear what his current condition is.
Denning's attorney has said his client had no involvement with the stabbing. It's unclear if Gibbons has a lawyer.
