WASHINGTON (AP) — Apple says it'll fight a judge's order to help the FBI access information stored in an iPhone that belonged to one of the San Bernardino, California shooters. The magistrate ruled that Apple must supply the FBI with specialized software that can help them hack into the encrypted iPhone belonging to Syed Farook, who along with his wife killed 14 people in December.

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Some 30,000 people are expected to gather today in Sun Bowl stadium in El Paso, Texas, to watch Pope Francis hold a large outdoor Mass just across the border in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. It'll be simulcast live at the stadium on giant screens. And it'll wrap up the pope's five-day trip to Mexico. But before Mass, Francis plans to speak to inmates at a Ciudad Juarez prison. And he'll visit the U.S-Mexico border, where he's expected to stop at the fence and give a blessing in honor of migrants.

OSAN AIR BASE, South Korea (AP) — North Korea is likely to view the arrival of U.S. planes in South Korea as a threat. Today, U.S. fighter jets flew over South Korea in a clear show of force against the North. Right now, North and South Korea are in a standoff over the North's nuclear and missile ambitions. And the U.S. often sends powerful warplanes to South Korea in times of tension.

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Jurors will hear opening statements today in the gruesome case of a baby stolen from the womb. Prosecutors in Colorado say Dynel Lane went to extreme lengths to show that she was pregnant, even showing off ultrasound images. Now Lane is accused of cutting open the belly of an 8-month-pregnant stranger, removing the unborn baby girl and passing the child off as her own. The mother survived the March 2015 attack, but the child did not.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Authorities in Tulsa, Oklahoma, say two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the highway shootings of eight vehicles, including six Wal-Mart trucks. The Tulsa World reports the teens were questioned and arrested Tuesday after a man told authorities his son and a friend had been out hunting during the time some shots were fired. Since Sunday night, drivers had reported hearing something hit their vehicles as they drove along a stretch of U.S. 75 north of Tulsa. No one was injured.
