Prosecutors said during opening arguments today that Jeremy Johnson lied to banks to create dozens of shell companies. Johnson has pleaded not guilty and is acting has his own attorney.
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A House panel is supporting a proposal that would require nearly all new justice court judges in Utah to have law degrees. The Salt Lake Tribune reports that the House Judiciary Committee recommended the proposal after approving amendments to exclude current judges and rural counties.
