TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A 14-year-old girl has died from injuries sustained during a high school ski trip.

The Camas County Sheriff's Office tells KBOI-TV (http://bit.ly/1Pus4X2) that Taylor Biggs died following a crash on Saturday at Soldier Mountain Ski Area in Fairfield.

Officials say the freshman at Twin Falls High School was skiing toward the lodge when she lost control and crashed into the side of a restroom building and was found unconscious and not breathing. She was flown to a Boise hospital where she later died.

School officials say the girl was on a trip with others who signed up for the school's ski club.

Authorities say she was wearing a helmet.
