SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Authorities say a man has died after setting himself on fire outside a Salt Lake City gas station.
KSL-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1WV104B) that police and firefighters were called to Flying J shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday about a person on fire inside a vehicle.
Salt Lake City firefighters were able to put the fire out.
Police say it appears the unidentified man deliberately set fire to himself to take his own life.
Police spokesman Michael Hatch says no one else was injured nor did the area have to be evacuated.
The incident remains under investigation.
