BRIGHAM CITY, Utah (AP) — A Honeyville man has died after his vehicle crashed near Brigham City.
Utah Highway Patrol says 23-year-old John Eggleston was traveling at a high rate of speed around 1:30 a.m. Saturday on State Route 38 when the incident happened.
The UHP says his car went off the road and up an embankment.
The car then rolled down the embankment.
The impact threw Eggleston, who was not wearing a seatbelt, from the vehicle.
He was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators have not ruled out speed or impairment as factors contributing in the crash.
