BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The owner of a fox that was reported stolen says the animal was found skinned in a Post Falls taxidermy shop.
KREM-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1PTwHG9 ) that owner Kimberlee Buechner says the fox named Yelvis was found at the shop Tuesday after being taken from his locked cage Monday.
Buechner says she didn't see any sign of digging or paw tracks left by the fox. She suspects someone used a key hidden on the property to open the cage.
Buechner says she purchased Yelvis legally from a fur farm two years ago.
