Travel bans are expected to be lifted and there may be some tentative efforts to get airlines up and running after thousands of flight cancelations. At least 18 deaths are attributed to the storm.

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) — Hong Kong authorities say a 44-year-old man is in custody in connection with the slayings of his nephews in los Angeles. The man is in custody and is expected to appear at court hearing in Hong Kong on Monday.

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has turned his attention from the Middle East to Asia as he heads for stops in Laos, Cambodia and China. LOS ANGELES (AP) — There's still no sign of three maximum security inmates who escaped from a Southern California jail by cutting through half-inch steel bars and rappelling from the roof with a makeshift rope. Officials say the escape was well-planned. The inmates — one of whom is an alleged killer — were last seen wearing orange jail jumpsuits. Investigators will be looking at surveillance camera footage.

BURNS, Ore. (AP) — A rancher is renouncing his U.S. Forest Service grazing contract.
