UNDATED (AP) — Duquesne (doo-KAYN') University's men's basketball team is among the people stuck on the snow-socked Pennsylvania Turnpike. Coach Jim Ferry says the team bus hasn't "moved one inch in 12 hours." He says his players have been eating leftover pizza from last night but he's hoping traffic gets moving soon. Officials say there are pockets of motorists stuck in the westbound lanes of the turnpike south of Pittsburgh. The National Guard has been called out to help them.
WASHINGTON (AP) — A poll suggests the American public has considerable doubts about the government's ability to solve major problems in this presidential election year. The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll finds that 6 in 10 people questioned expressed only slight confidence — or none at all — that the federal government can make progress on the problems facing the country in 2016. Terrorism and health care are the issues that adults cited as priorities, though various economic matters combine to take top billing.

The three service members were stripped of their nuclear certification and the Air Force quietly launched an investigation. The Air Force declined to provide details or a give The Associated Press a copy of the report by the Accident Investigation Board.
