LAS VEGAS (AP) — Mike Tyson has upgraded to a bigger house in his neighborhood and put his former home near Las Vegas up for sale.

Vegas Inc. reports (http://bit.ly/1JhLIVq ) that Clark County records show that the former boxing champ recently bought a two-story, 8,149-square-foot mansion in Henderson for $2.5 million. It's just down the street from his old house.

County records show that Tyson and his wife closed their purchase on Dec. 28.

The new house is in a gated community and has an outdoor fireplace, lush landscaping, marble flooring and a grand entry.

A news release from Luxury Homes of Las Vegas says the brokerage firm has listed Tyson's former home for $1.5 million.

According to county records, Tyson bought the home in 2008 for $1.75 million.
