LEWISTON, Maine (AP) — Police in Lewiston say the death of a Bates College student found unresponsive over the weekend isn't being classified as suspicious.

The Portland Press Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1nxzsq5 ) senior James Jhun was found in his on-campus dorm room Sunday and was later pronounced dead at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

Officials say an autopsy of Jhun was completed by the state medical examiner's office. A final ruling on his cause of death will be made after further study.

Police at the time said Jhun suffered from an unknown medical condition. Bates College spokesman Kent Fischer says he isn't authorized to discuss any potential health issues due to privacy restrictions.

Lt. Mark Cornelio says the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency assisted in the investigation, but no drugs were found at the scene.
