ST. MARTIN, Miss. (AP) — Police say a student who reportedly found a note saying a bomb would explode inside St. Martin Junior Middle School has been arrested and accused of writing the note.
The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1PcW98Z) Jackson County Sheriff's deputies responded Wednesday to the campus after a report of a bomb threat.
The school resource officer got a call from the principal who said a student found a note in the bathroom stating a bomb would blow at 2 o'clock.
After questioning, officials determined the 14-year-old student, who found the note also wrote it.
The student was arrested and taken to the Jackson County Youth Detention Center on the charge of falsely reporting of a bomb or explosive.
