TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Police are investigating after someone found human remains in the woods near Tacoma Community College.
The News Tribune reports (http://is.gd/EYAPTK ) that a person walking a dog found the bones near a trail by a soccer field and called 911. Police don't know whether the death was a homicide or how long the remains had been there.
College spokeswoman Tamyra Howser said students are asked to avoid the area. Classes were not affected.
