NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — Police say they've arrested a 29-year-old man in the slaying of his housemate in a New Year's Day shooting in North Las Vegas.
Officer Aaron Patty said Wednesday that Shawn Lynn Glover was arrested Monday at a complex of weekly apartments on Rancho Drive near Lake Mead Boulevard.
The Clark County coroner identifies the victim as 44-year-old Patrick Fleming, and says he was shot in the head.
Patty says the shooting happened about noon Friday following an argument inside a residence on Smokey Fog Avenue.
Glover was being held at the Las Vegas City Jail pending an initial court appearance on murder, assault and firearm charges.
It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.
