NEW DELHI (AP) — Officials say at least four gunmen entered an Indian air force base near the border with Pakistan on Saturday morning and exchanged fire with security forces, leaving two of the attackers dead. Security forces are reportedly exchanging fire with the other two.
HONOLULU (AP) — President Barack Obama says he's looking for ways to keep guns out of the hands of "a dangerous few" without relying on Congress to pass legislation. In his weekly address, the president says he'll meet Monday with Attorney General Loretta Lynch to discuss possible steps.
UNDATED (AP) — New laws now in effect show how states differ on some hot-button issues, such as gun laws. Texas now allows licensed owners to open-carry handguns in public. California is allowing people to ask a judge to have weapons taken away from relatives believed to pose a threat.
CLEVELAND (AP) — Protesters marched to the Cleveland home of a prosecutor to repeat calls for him to resign. The demonstrators are upset by a decision not to indict two white police officers in the shooting death of Tamir Rice, a 12-year-old black boy who had a pellet gun.
TORONTO (AP) — A law banning the sale of e-cigarettes to people to under the age of 19 has gone into effect in Ontario. Electronic cigarettes are now treated in the same way as regular cigarettes in the Canadian province that includes Toronto. The law also bans the sale of flavored tobacco.
