TORONTO (AP) — An Alberta man faces multiple charges following a disturbance on an Air Canada flight from Calgary to Toronto, police said Thursday.

Air Canada said flight AC1312 was carrying 199 passengers when a customer became disruptive.

Police said officers met the plane at Toronto's Pearson International Airport on Thursday morning after the flight crew reported that a man was being disruptive and belligerent toward the crew and passengers. Police said nobody was injured.

Calgary resident Ahmed Kochi Hissein-Warimi, 34, was charged with one count each of mischief and endangering the safety of an aircraft, and six counts of breach of probation.

The incident comes a day after police arrested an Alberta resident who allegedly assaulted a flight attendant on board an Air Canada flight destined for India.
