CODY, Wyo. (AP) — The snow-covered Yellowstone National Park has reopened for winter activities.
The Cody Enterprise reports (http://bit.ly/1Ypg0qz ) that the park opened Tuesday for guided snowmobile and snowcoach rides entering through the north, west and south gates. The east entrance doesn't open to snowmobile traffic until Dec. 22.
Skiers can also now choose several trails within the park, including at Tower Junction, near the Mammoth Hot Springs area and near Old Faithful by the Upper Geyser Basin.
