HAYWARD, Calif. (AP) — A Northern California high school student has been arrested on suspicion of threatening to commit violence at a Hayward school on social media.
KRON-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1YklHGi ) that the 15-year-old Mt. Eden High School student was arrested Tuesday morning after officers discovered threats Monday evening.
Police say the student admitted to making the threat on social media, but there was no indication he had actually planned any violence or had any weapons.
The student was booked into juvenile hall.
