SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Reality TV personality Kristin Cavallari says her heart is in a million pieces after her missing brother's body was found in southern Utah. Kristin Cavallari posted on her Instagram account that her brother always made her laugh and had a good heart. The Grand County Sheriff's office said that crews discovered the remains believed to be that of Michael Cavallari yesterday morning in the same general area where his car was found abandoned on Nov. 27.
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police say a 5-year-old girl was hit and killed by a pickup truck after she let go of her mother's hand outside a Lehi preschool. The Fire Chief says the student was leaving Mountainland Head Start when she was accidently hit by someone picking up a kindergarten student. The victim's name was not immediately released.
HURRICANE, Utah (AP) — Police in southern Utah say at least two people are dead after a plane crashed in a remote area near the city of Hurricane. Hurricane city police did not release details about how many people were aboard the aircraft, whether anyone survived or what might have caused the crash.
ATLANTA (AP) — Utah's Tom Hackett has won the Ray Guy Award, given to the nation's top punter. It was the second straight year Hackett won the award. The Australian-born punter became the first Utah player and the first from the Pac-12 to win the award in 2014. The only other player to win the honor in consecutive seasons was Louisiana Tech's Ryan Allen in 2011-12.
