WEST JORDAN, Utah (AP) — A Draper school bus driver who pleaded guilty to driving under the influence with a bus full of children will serve 10 days in jail. Lycia Martinez acknowledged driving the 73 children and adult chaperones while under the influence of prescription drugs during an October 2014 field trip. Her lawyer says she's sorry and relieved no one was hurt.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Utah authorities say the brother-in-law of NFL quarterback Jay Cutler has been missing for more than a week after his abandoned car was found on a remote dirt road off Interstate 70. Thirty-year-old Michael Cavallari lives in San Clemente, California. He is the brother of reality TV personality Kristin Cavallari, who's married to Cutler.

LOGAN, Utah (AP) — The Cache County Board of Education has approved a land-swap with the Mormon church. The Herald Journal reports the school district will exchange an acre of land in North Logan for an acre owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints adjacent to Bridgerland Applied Technology College. The district will use the land to expand Cache High School.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — New Virginia football coach Bronco Mendenhall says he will build the Cavaliers football program through accountability, discipline and effort. Mendenhall was introduced at Virginia today. He says it is one of the few schools he would have considered leaving BYU for.
