SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — President Barack Obama plans to tell the nation what steps the government is taking to keep people safe after the shooting rampage this past week in San Bernardino, California, that killed 14. The Oval Office address will take place at 8 p.m. Eastern time Sunday.
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The national head of Planned Parenthood mourned with and rallied supporters in Colorado on Saturday. Cecile Richards met quietly with workers credited for saving lives in last month's shooting at a clinic in Colorado Springs that claimed three lives.
LONDON (AP) — London police are investigating a stabbing incident in an Underground station as a "terrorist incident." Authorities say a man threatened people with a knife; one person was seriously injured and two others were slightly hurt. One person is under arrest.
TUNICA, Miss. (AP) — Actor Morgan Freeman says he's fine after his private plane blew a tire while taking off Saturday from a Mississippi airport and had to make an emergency landing. Neither Freeman nor his pilot was hurt.
SANAA, Yemen (AP) — Security officials in Yemen say a huge explosion has killed the governor of Aden (AY'-duhn) and six of his bodyguards. Authorities are investigating.
