CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — Members of a group working to get medical marijuana on the Wyoming ballot have formed a political action committee to collect donations.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1XJRvnV ) that the Wyoming chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws announced Wednesday that they have formed a PAC: 420 Wyoming -- Wyoming Women for the Legalization of Cannabis and Hemp.

The news comes days after the executive director of the NORML chapter stepped down. Cheyenne resident Lee Roith will take over as interim executive director.

NORML has until Feb. 8 to gather nearly 25,700 signatures in order to get a medical marijuana measure on the November ballot.
