BRUSSELS (AP) — Belgian security forces patrolling certain neighborhoods in Brussels are telling people to stay away, and some streets in the area are closed off. It's not clear why. The activity comes after the Belgian government decided to keep the capital on the highest alert level at least until tomorrow, amid fears of a Paris-style attack.

NICOSIA, Cyprus (AP) — Authorities in Cyprus are holding one Algerian and five Turkish men in custody after they were stopped from entering the country amid suspicions about the purpose of their trip. That's according to an official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he's not authorized to discuss security matters publicly. The official tells The Associated Press that Interpol described the Algerian man and two of the Turks as being "close to" Islamic extremist groups.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump says he saw people cheering the Sept. 11 attacks across the river in New Jersey — but there's no evidence that ever happened. The Republican presidential candidate said yesterday that he'd watched as thousands of people in Jersey City cheered as the twin towers came down. He repeated that assertion this morning on ABC's "This Week," saying he saw it on television. Jersey City's mayor says Trump is "plain wrong" and he's politicizing an emotionally charged issue.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Funeral plans are set for a black man whose fatal shooting by Minneapolis police has sparked protests. A cousin of Jamar Clark says his funeral will be Wednesday at Shiloh Temple International Ministries in north Minneapolis. Protesters have been demonstrating outside a Minneapolis police station since Clark was shot during a struggle with officers who were answering an assault complaint last Sunday.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The final film in the "Hunger Games" series is the weekend's top movie, with an estimated $101 million opening. "Mockingjay - Part 2" pushed the latest James Bond movie, "Spectre," to No. 2, with "The Peanuts Movie" in third place.
