LAS VEGAS (AP) — The National Weather Service is warning of strong crosswinds affecting driving conditions in southern Nevada. The wind advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. in Clark County, including Las Vegas, Mount Charleston and Red Rock Canyon. Gusts over 60 mph are possible in some areas.
PAHRUMP, Nev. (AP) — Prosecutors are considering a felony drug charge against Lamar Odom after the former NBA star was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel. Nye County District Attorney Angela Bello says that the sheriff's office submitted the potential charge last week, and a prosecutor is considering filing a count of unlawful use of cocaine or being under the influence of a controlled substance.
CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Gov. Brian Sandoval has ordered flags to fly at half-staff through Thursday in honor of victims of last week's terrorist attacks in Paris. Sandoval issued an executive order yesterday, calling for Nevada and U.S. flags to be lowered at all state public buildings and grounds.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say one person is dead and four are hospitalized with critical injuries after an explosion and fire at a single-family home east of downtown Las Vegas. Police homicide detectives are investigating. The cause of the fire wasn't immediately known.
