PARIS (AP) — Secretary of State John Kerry is in Paris where he's expressing U.S. solidarity with France. Kerry said Friday's terror attacks in the French capital were carried out by "psychopathic monsters." The U.S. Embassy's main building is lit in the French blue, white and red.

PALESTINE, Texas (AP) — Authorities in Palestine (PAL'-uh-steen), Texas, say six people have been killed at a campsite. A suspect is in custody. The bodies of a man and woman were found in a travel trailer yesterday. The bodies of four men were found in a nearby pond today on the suspect's property. William Hudson's bond is set at $2.5 million.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Crews have ended their search of the wreckage of the cargo ship El Faro deep in the Atlantic without finding the vessel's "black box." The 790-foot freighter sank on Oct. 1 after it lost engine power and got stuck in a Category 4 hurricane on its way from Jacksonville, Florida, to Puerto Rico. The ship's bridge is sitting In 15,000 feet of water.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — After withering criticism for ordering a baby taken away from lesbian foster parents and placed with a heterosexual couple, a Utah judge is removing himself from the case. Judge Scott Johansen reversed that decision last week amid widespread criticism.

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (AP) — The operators of a Cherry Hills, New Jersey, mall are red-faced about seeing green. A requirement to have parents pay $35 to $50 for a photo or video package for their kids to get into the Adventure to Santa exhibit has been scrapped. It was free last year. Critics say the charge would push away low-income families and was counter to the spirit of Christmas.
