ACWORTH, Ga. (AP) — Police say an 18-year-old woman is accused of stabbing her 17-year-old step-cousin to death in suburban Atlanta.

Cobb County Police spokesman Dana Pierce said in a statement that 18-year-old Olivia Smith of Canton has been charged with felony murder in the death of Abbey Hebert of Acworth. Police said in a release that Hebert was found dead Saturday in the yard of an Acworth home.

Chilton says Smith was arrested near Herbert's body.

Pierce said Monday that Smith and Hebert were step-cousins.

Smith is being held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond. It's not clear whether Smith has an attorney.

Local news media reports that about a dozen students gathered Saturday night for a vigil in Hebert's memory at Allatoona High School.
