LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a newspaper delivery driver was shot early Wednesday in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas police said the woman was driving her own vehicle while delivering newspapers about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday when she was shot twice in a neighborhood street in the western part of the city.
She drove herself to a nearby fire station for help and was taken to a hospital.
Her wounds do not appear life-threatening.
A female passenger inside the car wasn't hurt.
Police say the gunfire came from a small black two-door vehicle with a loud muffler that hasn't been found or identified.
It's unclear if the woman was targeted or what the motive was.
The shooting was about a half mile from three parks and two schools.
