LAS VEGAS (AP) — A decision is expected Wednesday about whether a 29-year-old self-styled pimp should be put to death for killing three people in a shooting and fiery crash on the Las Vegas Strip.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys make final arguments before a Nevada jury deliberates in the death penalty hearing for Ammar Asim Faruq Harris.

The jury took less than 20 minutes to find Harris guilty Oct. 26 of murder and other charges in the February 2013 carnage.

Harris didn't attended proceedings Monday or Tuesday.

Jurors heard Tuesday from a forensic psychologist who says Harris was neglected and sexually abused growing up in poverty in the New York area.

They've also heard about many of Harris' prior felonies in South Carolina and Nevada, and that he's been in trouble behind bars.
