PENDLETON, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say all four people found dead in a home in Pendleton died from gunshot wounds.
Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore says autopsies done Tuesday revealed that 58-year-old Mike Scott; his 60-year-old wife, Cathy Scott; Mike Scott's mother, 80-year-old Barbara Scott; and Cathy Scott's mother, 82-year-old Violet Taylor, were all shot to death.
Shore says the deaths happened sometime Sunday afternoon. The bodies were found on Monday by a daughter of one of the victims.
Sheriff's Lt. Sheila Cole says all four people lived at the home where the shootings happened. Authorities are still investigating and have not said whether they are looking for a suspect.
