BEONTONVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville has put on display contents from a time capsule buried on its campus 20 years ago.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (http://bit.ly/20cwNkn ) reports the college hosted a special event Wednesday for the public to view the items inside the time capsule. It was unearthed Tuesday.
Items included a copy of the college's first class schedule from 1990, blueprints for Burns Hall and a letter from Oct. 27, 1995 by then-president Bob Burns. The letter was intended for the college's president in 2015. College President Evelyn Jorgenson read the letter aloud to those gathered at the event.
A letter from President Bill Clinton congratulating the college on the opening of Burns Hall was also inside the time capsule.
According to the college, another time capsule will be buried in 2016.
