Shots fired in Carson City road rage incident

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Authorities are investigating a road rage incident in which multiple shots were fired into a vehicle in Carson City.

The Nevada Appeal reports (http://bit.ly/1RdsWgW ) that deputies responded to the incident Tuesday morning. A 79-year-old man had reported that several shots were fired into his vehicle.

Officers have identified a brown SUV matching the description given by the victim. Authorities have located the registered owner and a person of interest in the shooting, but no arrests have been made.

An investigation is ongoing.
