SPRINGFIELD, Ky. (AP) — St. Catharine College near Springfield is installing its eighth president this week.
She is Cindy Gnadinger, who became president of the school in July. The school says in a news release she has already hired new faculty and staff, added activities and facilities for student life and expanded dining hours and meal plan options for students.
Trustees Chairperson John Turner will present Gnadinger with the Presidential Medallion during the inauguration ceremony on Friday afternoon.
The ceremony is the conclusion of a week of activities that also includes the blessing of the campus farm, a day of service in the community and other community activities.
Gnadinger became provost at St. Catharine College in 2014.
