BLACKFOOT, Idaho (AP) — A former policeman and high school resource officer is facing drug chargers in southern Idaho.

The Idaho State Journal reports (http://bit.ly/1FiageK) Paul Hardwicke had worked at Blackfoot High School during the time of the alleged criminal conduct. The offenses were discovered in May.

Hardwicke was removed from his position as school resource officer and placed on administrative leave following the allegations. He is no longer an employee of the Blackfoot Police Department.
