INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. (AP) — Authorities say a church in Incline Village has been vandalized, the latest in a string of similar incidents in the Lake Tahoe area.

KTVN-TV in Reno reports (http://bit.ly/1Vp3c47) the Washoe County Sheriff's Office was called around 7:30 a.m. Sunday to investigate vandalism of The Village Church on McCourry Boulevard.

Investigators say the incidents have escalated over the past month from graffiti to property damage such as broken windows.

Secret Witness of Northern Nevada is offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest.

The church was one of six that was previously vandalized in April on Easter Sunday.

Letters and symbols were used to deface the sites.
