TOWN AND COUNTRY, Mo. (AP) — Fall enrollment has reached a record level for the 11th straight year at Maryville University in suburban St. Louis.
The university said Friday that its overall student population is projected at 6,450, up 8 percent from a year ago.
University president Mark Lombardi says Maryville has doubled enrollment since 2007. The university says the rate of first- to second-year students returning to campus is also at an all-time high, 88 percent.
