BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — New students are moving into University of Colorado dorms in Boulder, and the school is trying to minimize the impact on traffic.

The Boulder Daily Camera reports (http://tinyurl.com/q6jtygg) freshmen are arriving on campus Wednesday and Thursday. The university says the size of this year's first-year class could be a record with about 6,000 students.

The school has scheduled move-in windows to avoid the morning and evening rush hours. All campus parking lots are closed to returning students and employees to free up space for new students and their parents to unload.
