LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say the death of a 37-year-old bicyclist several days after he was struck from behind by a Ford Mustang on the Las Vegas Strip has been ruled an accident.
The Clark County coroner said Tuesday that Matthew Hunt of Las Vegas died Sunday of head injuries he received in the Aug. 3 crash on Las Vegas Boulevard near Spring Mountain Road.
Police say another bicyclist riding near Hunt wasn't struck by the vehicle and wasn't hurt.
Hunt was hospitalized at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center, and police say the driver of the Mustang, 23-year-old Breanna Jimeno, remained at the scene after the 8 a.m. crash.
She wasn't found to be at fault.
