BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) — A former Connecticut high school English teacher who had a sexual relationship with a female student has been sentenced to three years in prison and must register as a sex offender.
The Connecticut Post reports (http://bit.ly/1IrOhQM ) that 49-year-old Glenn Mishuck was sentenced Friday in Bridgeport Superior Court, about two months after he pleaded guilty to four counts of second-degree sexual assault.
Mishuck was arrested in 2013 after police said he had a five-month sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl when he was a teacher and she was a student at Fairfield Ludlowe High School in Fairfield. Another woman accused Mishuck of having a relationship with her when she was a student at Stamford High School in the mid-1990s, but he wasn't charged.
Mishuck apologized for his actions Friday.
