COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Columbus Police say a man whose body was found dead inside an old school bus was likely not a crime victim.
The Columbus Dispatch reports (http://bit.ly/1IRvekg ) officers were alerted to the bus just before 6 p.m. Thursday. It was parked beside an apartment building on East Livingston Avenue with a "For Sale" sign posted to its front windshield.
Sgt. Christ Holzhauser says an inspection of the body and the bus revealed no obvious signs of foul play. The man has not yet been identified.
Holzhauser says it's common knowledge in the neighborhood that people were using the parked bus as a place to sleep or use drugs.
Police suspect the man died earlier in the week. An autopsy will determine whether he died of natural causes or a possible drug overdose.
