CLEVELAND (AP) — The younger sister of a woman who authorities say was killed by their mother in March has been accused of helping dump the body in a field.

Hannah Tyburski, 19, was arrested Tuesday on charges of obstructing justice, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse. The body of her sister, 26-year-old Rachele Tyburski, was found March 15 near a recreation complex in Lorain County.

Their mother, 46-year-old Janet Tyburski, was arrested May 5 and charged with aggravated murder. Authorities say she suffocated Rachele Tyburski. Janet Tyburski has pleaded not guilty and is being held on $2 million bond.

Hannah and Janet Tyburski were charged in a secret indictment filed in Lorain County on June 18.

Authorities said Janet Tyburski contacted Hannah Tyburski two days after the killing at a home in Lakewood, a Cleveland suburb, and asked for help disposing of the body. Police and prosecutors haven't said why Janet Tyburski would have killed her daughter.

A relative has said Rachele Tyburski had bipolar disorder and Janet Tyburski served as the main caregiver for Rachele's 4-year-old son. The child is now being cared for by a grandparent, said Hannah Tyburski's attorney, Kevin Spellacy.

He called the circumstances surrounding the case a "tragic situation."

"Hannah lost not only her sister but her mother as well," Spellacy said.

Hannah Tyburski, a college student, is free on $7,000 bond. She has a hearing scheduled for Thursday in Lorain County Common Pleas Court.
