BALTIMORE (AP) — Officials are expecting up to 350,000 people at the African American Festival this weekend in Baltimore.
The festival is taking place Saturday and Sunday at the Camden Yards Sports Complex. The free event will include music, cultural exhibits, contests, health screenings and children's activities including inflatable obstacle courses and a rock climbing wall. Organizers say there will be more than 150 vending booths and attractions and two entertainment stages. The festival will take place from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
The Maryland Transit Administration is urging people attending the festival to take public transit to avoid traffic and parking.
