TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — University police say a man confronted two female students at the University of Arizona in separate incidents and tried to get them in his car.
The Arizona Daily Star reports (http://bit.ly/1IC3jDa ) that the UA police department said in a campus bulletin that the two girls were approached around 4 p.m. Friday afternoon by an unfamiliar man.
UA Police Chief Brian A. Seastone and department crime prevention specialist Joe Bermudez sent out the bulletin.
They wrote that in the first incident, a man tried to talk to a student in the parking garage and asked her to get in his car. She ignored him and he drove away.
Police say he then stopped and tried to guide another student walking along the street toward his car, but she ran away.
