Former ag teacher accused of sexual contact with student

ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) — The Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office say a former teacher is facing charges after allegedly having sexual contact with an underage student.

The sheriff's office said in a new released received by The Town Talk (http://townta.lk/1TaQw0r) 45-year-old Christopher Martin Glasscock, of in Pineville, was arrested on Monday and booked with seven counts of prohibited sexual conduct between educator and student. Glasscock was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center, but later released after posting a $30,000 bond.

A complaint was received by the sheriff's office on May 22 about inappropriate behavior between a juvenile student and Glasscock, who is listed as the Buckeye High School agriculture teacher.

Online jail records did not list an attorney for Glasscock.
