NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — A 14-year-old boy has died after a crash in North Las Vegas.
Authorities said Dyvionte Cromwell of North Las Vegas died Saturday after a crash from two days earlier.
Police say he was crossing a busy road around 4 p.m. on June 4, walking from the west side to the east side at an angle outside of the marked crosswalk.
He was struck by a SUV going north but police say speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash. The driver stayed at the scene.
The boy was hospitalized in critical condition and was pronounced dead on Saturday.
The Clark County Coroner's office identified the boy but has not confirmed a cause or manner of death.
