DANNEMORA, N.Y. (AP) — Two convicted murderers are on the loose. They were discovered missing Saturday morning at a maximum-security prison in upstate New York, near the Canadian border. Gov. Andrew Cuomo says 48-year-old Richard Matt and 34-year-old David Sweat used power tools to cut through steel walls to escape. Officials are trying to determine how they got the tools.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A teenage couple from Ohio is in custody in West Virginia after a police pursuit. Authorities suspect the 16-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl of being involved in a series of crimes across three states. The teens, from Upper Sandusky and Sycamore in northwest Ohio, had been reported missing Monday. Family members had expressed fear for their safety.

UNDATED (AP) — President Barack Obama is heading to Germany for a two-day summit of the Group of Seven industrialized democracies and there's expected to be a lot of tough talk about Russia. It's the second year in a row that leaders from the U.S, France, Canada, Britain, Germany, Italy and Japan will assemble without Russia. It was kicked out after annexing Ukrainian territory last year.

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon says peace talks between the warring parties in Yemen will resume in Geneva on June 14. A U.N. spokesman says Ban welcomes the decisions by Yemen's exiled president and Shiite Houthi (HOO'-thee) rebels to attend the talks in Switzerland. And he's urging the parties to engage "in good faith and without pre-conditions."

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Real estate mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump says a lot of people will be very happy with his upcoming decision on whether to run for president. He has set June 16 as the date for announcing in New York City his plans for seeking the Republican nomination. Trump spoke Saturday at the North Carolina Republican convention in Raleigh
